This
section came out of hearing about women who send shirts to the cleaners
to have a button sewed on. I was shocked. By the time you could get in
your car and go down the block, the button could be on and it wouldn’t
cost anything but a little piece of thread. It doesn’t take much time
to do a little bit of mending. It will save you time and money to learn
some basics. We’ll start with some very elementary things.
The
Proverbs 31 woman worked with wool and flax, spun thread, twisted
fiber, quilted bedspreads, and made linen garments and sashes to sell.
You may not come out of these teachings with all of that, but at least
you will be able to do some things for yourself and be wiser for it.
