The Many Uses of Baking Soda






1. Grease or electrical fires.
Throw it on the fire by the handful to put the fire out. It will also  put  out fires in clothing, fuel, wood, upholstery, and rugs.


2. Clean vegetables and fruit  in baking soda.
Sprinkle some in water, soak produce and rinse.


3. Clean garbage cans
with baking soda.


4. Oil and grease stains will come out of clothes when baking soda is added to the water.


5. Clean refrigerator and freezer with a damp cloth or sponge sprinkled with baking soda. Rinse with clear water.


6. Baking soda in the refrigerator will help eliminate odors.
Keep the same box in fridge for 2 months. Stir baking soda once in a while.


7. Baking soda absorbs kitty litter odor.
Cover the bottom of the litter box with baking soda before adding kitty litter.


8. Wash out thermos bottles and cooling containers with baking soda to eliminate odors.


9. Run your coffee maker with a soda solution to clean and then rinse.


10. Sprinkle soda on barbecue grills, soak and rinse.


11. Sprinkle soda on greasy garage floor. Let stand, scrub and rinse.


12. Reduce odor build up in your dishwasher by sprinkling soda on the bottom.


13. Run your dishwasher through its cycle with soda instead of soap to give it a good cleaning.


14. Soak your shower curtains in water and soda to clean them.


15. Sprinkle baking soda on your wet toothbrush
and brush your teeth with it.
